North Durham Academy is seeking to appoint Cover Staff to join our Team. This is an exciting time to join us.  Whilst the agenda is challenging, but for the right individual this presents an unrivalled opportunity to make a real difference and a lasting contribution to our journey in becoming outstanding providers of education.

You will be required to look after classes of students in the Academy and conduct pre-planned lessons for absent teachers, providing appropriate guidance and advice as required.

Good verbal and communication skills are essential, together good classroom management.  It is essential you are able to work using your own initiative, under pressure to achieve quality work within competing deadlines. You will be required to work flexibly according to the needs of the Academy.
