Student fundraising day for The Bradley Lowery Foundation

North Durham Academy would like to thank all our students for their amazing efforts during Friday’s fundraising event for The Bradley Lowery Foundation.

The foundation was set up by parents of Bradley Lowery a young boy who suffered from a rare childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma, to help pay for his treatment.

Brady sadly lost his battle with cancer on Friday, and the foundation is now donating all money raised to help other children battling the disease.

Students at North Durham Academy tied blue balloons to the railings at the front of the academy on Friday, in memory of Bradley Lowery

In total the academy raised £1161.22 for the foundation – an absolutely amazing achievement !!
